Food Processing Course held

The Fishermen Community Development Programme organized a food processing training program for the budding entrepreneurs of the region . The program was officially inaugurated on mid of November The cerficates of the course is to be held on .December 2023 at FCDP Hall. The course was inaugurated by Mrs. Usha Rani (Faculty, JSS). Fr. Joby Sebastian (Ast. Director FCDP), and Sr. Mary K. (Ast. Director TMS) spoke on the occasion. Classes were led by Mrs. Kaumathi and Mrs. Alamelu. 20 members were part of the course. The course syllabus focussed especially in preparing syrup, squash, jelly, jam, and sauces. The food processing course was held in collaboration with jan shikshan sansthan The course iwas organised with the aim of supporting women to start own business related to fish.
