Medical Camps & Health Seminars

Medical camps are organized regularly by FCDP. Various health programmes including monthly awareness classes and medical checkups are organized at the community level to bring up the health condition of the fisher folk. Medical assistance is given to the most deserving sick people from the community. The awareness classes aim to cover all the topics related health, hygiene and various diseases, their management and prevention. These classes sensitize people regarding the issues in the community that are important while considering the community health.

Medical Camps & Health Seminars are also conducted as a part of the Women and Youth Empowerment Project.
