Organized an awareness seminar on organic farming - August 4, 2023

Fishermen Community Development Programme, (FCDP) Kollam in collaboration with Krishi Bhavan organized an awareness seminar on organic farming and vegetable saplings distribution. The program was held on August 4, 2023, at FCDP Hall. Anna Saju (Project coordinator) led the program, which was attended by over 50 women keen on farming. Fr.Jithin Mattamundayil (Assistant Director, FCDP) presided over the function and Pallithottam Division Councillor Shri. Tomy Napoleon inaugurated the program. Fr.Joby Sebastian (Director, FCDP-TMS) delivered the keynote address. The public function was followed by a seminar on organic farming by Mr. Prakashan T. (Agriculture Officer, Kollam) Mr. Sajeevan (Assistant Agriculture Officer) clarified the doubts of the participants. Vegetable saplings were distributed to all the participants.
