Ujjivani celebrates successful completion of 1 year.

Ujjivani - the free dialysis programme for kidney patients begun by FCDP-TMS in collaboration with Bishop Benziger Hospital completed one year on 24th May 2023. A simple programme was organized on 31st May 2023 to celebrate the first-year anniversary. The program that started with 50 free dialysis every month has now risen to 100 free dialysis a month.

The chief guest for the program was Rev. Fr. P.O. Varghese sdb, (Parish Priest, St. Stephen’s Church, Thope). Smt. Agnes John (Chairperson, FCDP) presided over the function. Rev. Fr. C.J. Sebastian (Ast. Vicar, St. Stephen's Church, Thope) was the special guest. Smt. Nirmala, (Asst. Nursing Superintendent, Bishop Benziger Hospital) represented the Bishop Benziger Hospital. Ms. Sanjana J.S., family member of one of the beneficiaries shared her experience. Rev. Fr. Joby Sebastian (Director, FCDP-TMS), Smt. Veronica (president, TMS) and Sr. Mary K (Ast. Director, TMS) spoke on the occasion. Present were also the benefactors and well-wishers of ujjivani. This initiative has been a great help to our beneficiaries and their families. We thank everyone who has been part and parcel of Ujjivani and appreciate the sacrifices made on behalf of this program.
