A workshop on credit linkage and finance access was organised

As part of the WE-LivE project, a workshop on credit linkage and finance access was organised for women entrepreneurs at FCDP Hall on October 9, 2023. Mr. Jai Sankar (Assistant District Industries Officer, Kollam) was the resource person for the programme, in which 50 women participated. Credit linkage refers to the process of connecting individuals or businesses with financial institutions to access credit or loans. Credit linkage plays a pivotal role in expanding financial access, reducing poverty, and promoting economic development, particularly among marginalised populations and in rural areas. It bridges the gap between financial institutions and those in need of credit, fostering inclusive growth.
